Building Value Beyond the Road

We are committed to creating positive, lasting impact for the communities connected to our work.

Our social and economic actions are focused on enriching the communities we work in and leaving a positive, lasting legacy of pride and inclusion.

Social impact is part of how Associated Asphalt delivers work. It shapes how projects are planned, how sites are managed and how teams operate safely and responsibly in live environments.

We focus on doing the right things well. That means supporting skills and wellbeing, working constructively with local communities, reducing environmental impact and delivering work to a standard that leaves a positive, lasting impression long after a project is complete.

Measuring our impact

We track social value activity through measurable outcomes to support transparency and continuous improvement across our work.

The figures shown reflect social value and workforce development activity delivered across the business during 2025, alongside live projects and ongoing operations.

2025 overview

Led by colleagues from across the business.

Our wellbeing approach is supported by the Action for Wellbeing Team, made up of colleagues from different roles, locations and backgrounds. They help shape our activity, ensuring support remains relevant, accessible and grounded in what people actually need.

The team plays an active role in encouraging open conversations, sharing resources and supporting a culture where checking in on each other feels natural. Their insight helps guide how we communicate, plan initiatives and respond to feedback across the business.
